In my opinion, Connected in Hope Foundation is one of the most responsible and conscientious humanitarian organizations currently operating in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. I love their humble approach. Global networking and a commitment to professionalism delivered in love, creates a successful working model with a family feel. When the mother/daughter team who started CHF traveled to Ethiopia, they saw small women burdened under huge loads of heavy sticks. They were scurrying down the mountain to sell these bundles in the city, resulting in a meager wage of less than $1.00 a day. The story of how this organization is just amazing. Every time I talk to them, there is yet another project in the works to bless these families. Please take a minute to check out their website. They sell beautiful hand woven scarves....you will one in every color! www.connectedinhope.org Connected in Hope's programs include::
On a mountainside, not far from their preschool, they have rented a beautiful new compound with the goal of creating an innovative Artisan and Design Production Center: Tesfa {Hope} Studio. Complete with GUEST ROOMS, you can come & stay & see firsthand how touched hearts are making HUGE differences in the lives of those less fortunate than most of us. www.connectedinhope.org/tesfa-hope-studio/
