![]() Here is an AMAZING update I received from our friend, Colin Carroll, who serves through Christar in the Philippines. He lost his bag at a bus stop upon arrival. He was pretty sure it was carried off by another passenger by accident. It was filled with medical supplies, personal items and witnessing materials. He faithfully offered up prayers, asked friends to pray - but - did not worry about it. Trusted God to use it for His glory. WOW! Read what God did with that suitcase: Family Friends and Ministry Partners, Sure, Jonah spent 3 days in the belly of the fish before the Lord had him spit on the shore. But, my bag spent 6 days in the heart of a muslim community till the Lord decided to send it back....... And who he had bring it back is amazing. As you know my bag has been missing since the bus trip in to Iligan. There have been a lot of prayers for the bags return as well as the Lord using the bag and the material inside to reflect His glory. Turns out that my bag was taken by the Sultan sa Boroa, who lives in Maguing. (A city on the opposite side of the lake from Balindong.) Well long story short, he returned my bag today with all it's contents in tact ( fetal monitor and inspirational plaque that will now mean even more)just a little damage to a zipper. In addition we are now "Besties" and he has guaranteed us safe passage to bring the Mobile Clinic to his community (a whole new area for ministry). We just have to give him a call. Well, I just have to get preachy now. What a great and powerful God we serve. He listens to the prayers of His children, and advances His plan. It is done in His time, with His results, that provides what is best for us, and advances His Kingdom. We are blessed when we take the time to listen and watch His answers. These last few days have been like a ride on a wave of prayer. Thank you all for stirring the waters with your prayers and allowing me to ride that wave. Your partnership brings so much to the efforts here. To God be all the glory Colin Jeremiah 32:17 Here's Colin...with his new best friend, The Sultan! {I love it!}
